Our dear MSc programme in Human Factors and Systems Safety turns 20 years old and of course we are celebrating with a jubilee.
The jubilee will be celebrated in the form of a jubilee conference on June 11–12 2026. The conference will highlight the impact of the programme, featuring keynote speakers and presentations from you; former participants (separate call for abstracts to be uploaded shortly).
Professor Sidney Dekker is our first confirmed keynote speaker and we are delighted to have him back in Lund to celebrate the programme which he started in 2006.
As a bonus to attending the jubilee event you are also offered the possiblity to attend the preceding learninig lab on The Ethics of Safety (June 8-10). We hope to see you in Lund in June!
Keeping our alumni connected
In 2020 the initiative was made to start organising an alumni community for the MSc programme. Since then we have held our first online alumni meeting (during the pandemic) and in 2023 we organised our first alumni meeting on campus in Lund (see below).
We have decided to direct the communication for our alumni network to the Linkedin group Lund University Human Factors and Systems Safety (HFSS) Alumni and Students. In this group, which as of fall 2023 gathers 96 alumni and students, we share information about upcoming activities and stay in touch. See you there!
Alumni meeting June 15-16 2023
In June 2023 we held our first alumni meeting on campus in Lund. The alumni meeting was done as a part of 2023's learning lab II and enriched the Thursday-Friday of the learning lab, including the yearly graduation ceremony.
Thank you all who contributed to making the alumni event a success! We plan to organise an alumni meeting every second year. And of course, in 2026 we need to gather to celebrate that the programme turns 20 years.
