We are happy to announce that our former MSc student Gwendolyn Bakx was awarded with a PhD from the Technological University of Delft, the Netherlands, on June 23 2016. 

The thesis, called Safety in large-scale socio-technical systems: Insights gained from a series of systems studies, is available from the Technological University of Delft webpage. 

Gwendolyn, who has a history as a helicopter pilot for the Dutch Airforce, has since she joined the PhD programme in Delft also worked as an appreciated supervisor for two of our MSc students.
